Corazon Day Center and Resource Hub:

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday  9:30am – 3:00pm (Warm Lunch served at Noon)
Located at 504 Ave. E on the campus of Grace Lutheran Church, this program is in partnership with The City of San Antonio and local non-profits.  At the center we provide warm meals, showers with CAM, ID Recovery, respite, street outreach, and case management.  Other nearby partners include Haven for Hope, SA Hope Center, First Presbyterian Church, and Church Under the Bridge.  For more information please contact Morgan Handley, Associate Director & Day Center Director at morgan@corazonsa.org.

Corazon Harm Reduction Outreach & Drop-In:

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday  9:00am – 3:00pm
(Mobile Street Outreach – Daily AM)
The Harm Reduction Center & Outreach is an effort to aid clients that are suffering from drug addiction and other forms of chemical dependencies. The program has built a team of 8 peer support and recovery specialists. As Certified Peer Recovery Coaches, they take pride in their ability to assist those in need by providing guidance into the many pathways of recovery available today. The program will be completely free of charge and is participant-centered that fits the needs of those we serve through needle exchange, harm reduction education, medical care, HIV/HepC testing, case management and recovery coaching. Downtown & Centro Street Outreach:

Our downtown street outreach team is a partnership with Centro San Antonio and The City of San Antonio (DHS). Our outreach workers help unhoused clients inside the Public Improvement District and adjacent areas. They can help someone with locating shelter, accessing resources through our day center, offering transportation, navigating social services, connecting with medical care, recovering their identification, applying for different housing options, etc. The team offices at our Travis Park Church campus (230 E. Travis St. San Antonio, TX 78205). Our licensed social worker leads a team of outreach specialists with lived experience to build personal and professional connections with people in need. The team also works alongside the Centro  “Quality of Life Ambassadors” who continuously walk the downtown area and assist people who appear to need assistance. Together we are caring for the needs of our unsheltered neighbors and creating “a beautiful, welcoming, and safe downtown for all.”

Corazon Medical Clinic:

Located at our Travis Park Church campus (230 E. Travis St. San Antonio, TX 78205). Our Corazon Medical clinic operates two times a week and provides basic medical care by local doctors, nurses, practitioners, and students.  This clinic is 100% Free and offers some pharmaceutical needs.  Walk-in only.  To learn more or volunteer please email clinic leadership.

Deborah’s House:

Corazon Ministries has partnered with Deborah’s House to bring more services to San Antonio. Deborah’s House supports women who have completed an in-patient program for their ongoing recovery from the disease of addiction by providing a safe sober-living home, spiritual mentoring and modeling of life skills for their continued success.

Sunday Morning Café & Breakfast:

One of our flagship programs started in 1999 at our Travis Park Location!  Each Sunday morning we provide a warm breakfast, showers, clothes, art therapy, and haircuts to our clients in downtown San Antonio. Breakfast is served at 8:45am followed by programming in the Fellowship Hall. (Clients can also attend the Corazon Medical Clinic at the same location. See below.)

Prayer & Recovery Circle:

One of our flagship programs started in 1999 at our Travis Park Location! Each Wednesday Evening at 6pm we host a prayer and recovery circle for our clients and volunteers. Led by Phil Watkins and Katherine Paredes.  This group modifies the 12-step programs and allows clients to share, receive positive feedback and pray for the community.  Dinner is served after The Circle.  All spiritual views are honored and respected at the Circle.

Alamo Street Choir:

Started in 2019, the Alamo Street Choir is a joint program between the SA Chamber Choir and Corazon San Antonio. The choir offers a musical outlet for the homeless, the marginalized and anyone interested in singing!  Our voices of hope and wisdom will bring the community to a higher level of beauty through the art of singing. The choir meets each Wednesday at 5pm in the Sanctuary of Travis Park Church located at 230 E. Corazon Migrant Shelter & HUB:

The Corazon Migrant Shelter has become a survival mechanism in times of crisis and/or continued displacement for asylum seekers traveling through San Antonio. It is a vital resource that hopes to support in restoring personal security, self-sufficiency and dignity. This San Antonio based effort is aimed to aid migrating populations access compassionate care and support migrating populations on their journey. The program is completely free of charge and is participant-centered that fits the needs of those we serve through comprehensive, integrated and compassionate care, shelter, transportation, taking into account the transcultural settings and evolving needs and challenges faced by asylum seekers. We work with IWC, COSA DHS, Yanawana Herbolarios, Catholic Charities of SA, and others to provide wrap around services for our clients:

Travis Park Dermatology Clinic:

Located at our Travis Park Church campus (230 E. Travis St. San Antonio, TX 78205). Our Dermatology clinic operates on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 4pm by medical students at UTHSC.  Walk-In and Referrals welcome.

Corazon Winter & Inclement Weather Shelter:

Located at our Travis Park Church campus (230 E. Travis St. San Antonio, TX 78205). Our temporary shelter opens for clients when weather is below freezing or during severe inclement weather.
