The Drop-In Center and the Mobile Street based Outreach initiatives are committed to reducing the incidence of isolation, overdose, HIV/AIDS, and hepatitis C among those impacted by substance use throughout Bexar County. This program is built by a team of peer recovery support specialists, educators, and medical professionals who provide compassionate care and guidance into the multiple pathways of recovery available today. The program is free of charge and offers holistic services.

Partners Include: UT Health Science Center, Be Well Texas, SA Street Medicine, SA AIDs Foundation, BEAT AIDs, UT Grassroots, ASHWell, SAFD Mobile Integrated Healthcare Unit, New Seasons Treatment Center, UIW Feik School of Pharmacy, Galen School of Nursing,

Services: Region 8 Naloxone distribution, Overdose Response Training, prevention education, wound care, free health screenings, and peer recovery coaching. This includes referrals to higher levels of medical care, detox, residential substance use treatment, Medication Assisted Treatment (methadone, suboxone), ID recovery, health insurance, sober living and more.
